Prepaid Rules

- Changing a prepaid reservation:

There is no fee for making many changes. Permissible changes include: car type; options (GPS, protections, etc.); adding other drivers; Non-permissible changes include: method of prepayment; name on reservation; (you must cancel your original reservation with applicable cancellation fee and re-book); rental period dates/times.

The Cancellations received up to 72 hours before the date specified in the reservation will be charged a penalty of 50,00€ and the amount is refunded to the same credit card booking. If you do not present at the time of booking, and with no information from you regarding your delay, your car will be reserved for 12 hr, to spend the entire period of the reservation will be charged after the vehicle be released 24hr to be rented for another client. A refund request for a cancelled reservation or denied rental must be made by calling +590590 29 62 40 8 AM- 6 PM Mon-Fri or by emailing reservation@budgetstbarth.com. Refunds cannot be given at the counter.

Required Credentials

At time of rental pick-up:

You must present the same credit card that you used for online payment. Location rental qualification rules apply. The name on all rental credentials (e.g. license and hold card) must match the name on the reservation. If the names do not match, for security purposes the prepaid reservation must be cancelled and a new reservation made at prevailing rates. A $50,00 U.S. processing fee will apply.

At time of pickup, all drivers must present a valid driver’s license in their name. At time of pickup, renter must present a valid credit card in the renter’s name. When using the Credit Card without raised numbers or debit card for the hold, the following hold rules will apply.

All debit rules in the “Additional Fees & Credit Holds” section above apply. The office reserves the right to accept credit cards without raised numbers, if it is accepted, the customer must take the full coverage. For Debit Card the hold will be for 60 days or depending on your Bank policies

When using some offer codes, you must provide association, corporate, or government credentials to prove eligibility for the special rate/benefit. Keep your reservation confirmation number because it is necessary for modification, cancellation or refund requests. Once your scheduled pick-up time passes, reservation changes cannot be made online.

Additional Fees and Credit Holds

Before Budget releases the car to you, all rental terms and conditions must be met, regardless of your prepayment method.

When the rental is over, we will process the reversal but the bank may take time to post it back to the account – unless you already paid toward your rental, in which case the hold will be from 1,000 € to 3,000 €. While this hold is in place, the funds will not be available for your use.

Protection Plans Coverage

These optional coverage plans protect you against any damage or theft to your rental vehicle, and are available for an additional daily charge. As with any optional coverare or protection plan, smart renters will want to do some research before purchasing these options.

Super Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Your totally carefree trip!

If this cover is accepted, in case of damages or accident (not include accessories, tires, overturning, soft top or theft to the vehicle) the client pays no amounts as deductible. This coverage will take effect only if the client presents all proper documents which include, but not limited to: police traffic ticket, insurance claim form, and the personal statement to proper transit court. If the client declines this coverage, will be responsible to pay for all damages to the rented vehicle up to the full value of the car. This coverage does not include towing services, expenses or vandalism (this includes partial theft).

Daily cost of this coverage is:

-14€ coverage 500€ deductible for the rental vehicle (Categories : A & C)

-16€ coverage 500€ deductible for the rental vehicle (Categories : L & F)

-20€ coverage 500€ deductible for the rental vehicle (Categories : O, I, J, G & N)

-25€ coverage 500€ deductible for the rental vehicle (Categories : M & H)

Personal Accident and Effects (PAE)

Don’t worry for any eventuality!

If I accept personal protection option (PAE), I would be protected from injury or accidental death up to the sum of 50,000€ per person injured or deceased, whether or not it is the responsibility of the driver, with no deductible; in case of accidental medical expenses, it will cover up 8,000€ per event regardless of the number of passengers, with a deductible of 10% in medical-surgical, pharmaceutical, rehabilitation, for coverage of partial or complete disability as a result of an accident as occupant of the rented vehicle.
